1. What is CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of 100+ naturally forming cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.  CBD is non-psychoactive that doesn't leave you feeling high like THC does. 

2. Why Use CBD?

The goal is to get the human body back to homeostasis, maintaining a healthy body. Suppelmenting with CBD has been shown to have a very positive effect. Cannabinoids are produced naturally in the brain. Over time the body does not produce enough cannabinoids so supplementing with supplements such as CBD will help the body get back to homeostasis. 

3. What is Homeostasis?

Homeostasis is the normal state of internal chemical and physical conditions maintained by the human body. It is a state of equilibrium and optimal functioning inside the body. 

4. CBD and Homeostasis

CBD is a beneficial way to ease the body back to a homeostasis state. CBD is great to use because of the many benefits it holds. CBD is non-psychoactive, helps fight anxiety, is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. CBD is great for skin, hair and nail production and regulation as well. 

5. CBD for Anxiety

CBD has been shown to be very effective in treating anxiety. Unlike pharmaceutical options, CBD is non-psychoactive, non-addictive, and non-toxic. CBD helps in easing the mind, decreasing racing thoughts, and helps reduce the stress on your life. 

6. Will I Pass a Drug Test?

Bonsai Wellness cannot guarantee anyone passing a drug test using our products. We use only CBD isolate in our products, but some drug tests test for different cannabinoids - not just THC. 

7. What Does This Help With?

8. How Much Should I Use?

Everyone is different! There is no universal answer to the serving size question. It really depends on your pain level, severity of the problem you’re trying to help, your metabolism, diet, etc. The best suggestion is to try the recommended serving on the bottle. Typical onset is between thirty minutes to a few hours. Wait and see how you feel before taking more. Fortunately, CBD isolate is non-psychoactive so you don’t have to worry about taking too much that you can’t function normally.

9. How to Use?

Open the bottle by removing the twist-off cap with the dropper attached. Squeeze the rubber nipple on the top of the tincture to fill the dropper with a serving size. Place that amount of liquid in your mouth under the tongue. Allow it to absorb under your tongue for up to thirty seconds before swallowing. Some patients like to keep it in their mouth for a few minutes to let it start working quicker through a sublingual effect. It is still effective if you dispense the dropper into your mouth and follow it with some water. The tinctures are made to be used orally, but you can also use the tincture topically. It can help to promote healing of any small cuts, bruises, and help rejuvenate your skin. It has been shown to help with psoriasis flare-ups, eczema, burns, cuts, bruises, and more. The tinctures are tasteless and odorless and comprised only of CBD isolate and clear organic MCT oil
